Ha, my dogs love to camp out in front of the brick oven when I am cooking too. You just never know when something is going to hit the ground. I hate to say, but sometimes I loose a whole pizza. The bread I just brush off and eat. Its just a little hard to get dirt and grass out of cheese ;)
Ha... you've got that right! I saw your pergola-nice addition. Covering the oven will be necessary here pretty soon with our monsoon season coming up. I've already lost my skim coat!
